Ultrasound Shows Unborn Baby Clapping Hands

At Jen Cardinal’s fourteen week ultrasound, she was able to see her baby clapping so she decided to sing “If You’re Happy and You Know It” with her doctor while her husband filmed it.

Although the video has gone viral with over two million viewers, lots of skeptics have also weighed in calling the video fake. Cardinal, however, insists that although her doctor slowed down the footage to extend the applause, she adds that the first few claps were “very real“.

“We went for an ultrasound. Our baby clapped two or three times. We gasped, laughed,” Cardinal said. “Doctor said, ‘let’s sing a song.’ He rewound and replayed it to us singing, so it looks like the baby is clapping. Great fun.”
