Hypothermia
Absolutely every piece of knowledge that mankind currently has about treating hypothermia comes from Nazi experimentation done during World War 2. This experimentation was done on humans.
Insect Food
According to the FDA, every single person consumes around one pound of insects every single year. These bugs are mostly mixed into other foods, which is allowed within certain amounts.
Tasty Chicks
Male chickens are often tossed into a grinder when they are just babies, as most farmers will claim roosters are not quite as tasty as hens are when they are fully grown and cooked.
Inuit Ingenuity
In the 1950s, the Canadian government forced Inuit people into settlements. An elderly Eskimo tried to escape, but his family removed all the tools in his household. He then fashioned a knife from his own feces and frozen spit, killed a dog, use said dog’s ribs and organs to build a sled, then tied it to other dogs and rode off into the sunset.
Fecal Matter
Apparently, 90 percent of the drink fountains located at fast food restaurants, such as McDonald’s or Taco Bell, tend to have some amount of fecal matter within the machine and the liquid. Happy drinking!
Cymothoa Exigua
Cymotha Exigua, a type of parasitic crustacean, will attach itself to the base of a fish’s tongue to consume the food that is ingested. The parasite will eat the tongue, then attach itself to the stump, acting as the new tongue in the fish’s mouth.
French Kiss
When two lovers French kiss, they are exchanging around 40,000 parasites and 250 types of bacteria. Think about that the next time you stick your tongue in someone else’s mouth.
Left or Right
Around 2,500 left handed people are killed every single year as they attempt to use a product built specifically for a right handed persons. Those should really be labeled correctly.
Tarantula Hawk
The terrifying tarantula hawk will reproduce by stinging a large tarantula and laying an egg inside of its back. Upon hatching, the larva then digs its way out of the living tarantula, eating the organs on its way out.
