It sounds like the perfect award for a psychic, but it’s actually just a clever play on words. Basically, this award is for students studying economics, who are good at predicting the financial market.
Common Knowledge Scholarships
Basically, these people just like to give away money for fun. This scholarship is perfect for people who know a lot of random information. You’re just asked a few random questions, and then you’re awarded anywhere from $300-$1000.
Zolp Scholarship
This scholarship is incredibly specific and strange. In order to qualify, you must be Catholic, and your last name must be Zolp.
David Letterman Scholarship
This scholarship applies only to students attending Ball State University, and requires them to submit a variety of creative media. Featuring David Letterman could definitely help their case.
Vegetarian Resource Group Scholarship
An anonymous (probably vegetarian) donor makes it possible for this group to award $20,000 worth of scholarships to vegetarians in the U.S.
Potato Scholarship
This scholarship goes towards students studying agribusiness, who are specifically interested in potatoes.
American Nudist Research Library Scholarship
This group literally awards people $1,000 scholarships for being nudists or for being supporters of nudism.
Lefty Scholarship
This scholarship, presented by Frederick and Mary Beckley requires three things: a good GPA, financial need, and for you to be left-handed.
Two Ten Footwear Foundation Scholarship
This foundation hands out scholarships to people studying shoe design, or people who work at footwear-selling places.
Tall Clubs Scholarship
To qualify for this scholarship, you have to be tall. Specifically, over 5’10 for women, and 6’2 for men.
