20 Of The Most Shocking Dresses Ever Worn On The Red Carpet

With recent talks about the barely there dresses that some celebrities have been wearing, it seems a good idea to look back at some of the most shocking, ugly, straight up hilarious dresses the women we look up to have worn on the red carper over the years. Some of them are far worse than others. There are a few on here from 2014, and some going all the way back to 1999. Some of them will live in infamy.

Rihanna

OK, she’s not completely naked, but she may as well be. Rihanna leaves absolutely nothing to the imagination on the red carpet at the CFDA Awards in 2014. That’s an Adam Selman creation and it’s covered in Swarovski crystals, and not much else.

Miley Cyrus

Doing her best to get people talking about her, Miley showed up at the amfAR Inspiration Gala in what looks to be some black duct tape. It’s actual a Tom Ford piece that is inspired by bondage.

Amber Rose

Talk about shocking attire. Amber shows up at the MTV Music Awards in this. Maybe she was trying to make her ex-husband, Wiz Khalifa, jealous. She could have shown up in a bikini and had just as much coverage.

Cara Delevingne

Cara wore what looks to be little more than a pair of over-sized granny panties with a sheer black robe to the GQ Men Of The Year Awards. Was she the award?

Ward went all out, well, almost all out, for the premiere of A Haunted House 2. Looking up close, you not only get a peep at her under cleavage, but you can also see her tan lines.
