7 Week Old Baby Says “Hello”

Proud mom, Toni McCan, of Northern Ireland received a pleasant surprise when she was talking to her 7 week old son, Cillian. Babies typically don’t start talking until they near the age of 12 months. But Cillian seemed to prove us all wrong when his mother says “hello” and he says “hello” back.

Toni was able to capture the astonishing moment and post it to her Facebook page saying “Had to share this, my 7 week old baby saying HELLO! Lol“. Of course she received a remarkable amount of feedback which then made the video go viral. People are making comments such as “Omg!! That’s amazing!!” to “I can’t stop watching this … It’s as plain as day! Unbelievable!“

Toni states that she has been overwhelmed by the response. “It’s been mad, I have had messages from everyone.“

But, ever since this amazing moment was captured, baby Cillian hasn’t managed to repeat it. Toni says she can tell that he is trying to talk more by the way he flicks his tongue. To her it is obvious he wants to say something, maybe another “hello”? People are definitely skeptical of this, many note that babies making different sounds and cooing is just a normal part of development and the first step towards learning a language.
