Storm Chasers Greeted With Massive Hail, Destroys Windshield

Two storm chasers, Spencer and Lawrence, were driving through Stephenville, Texas, on the hunt for a massive, record-breaking storm. Unfortunately for the two men, the hail that began pouring down from the sky was bigger than they expected – larger than the size of a grapefruit. The hail struck their vehicle before they could find suitable shelter, smashing in their front windshield.

The two storm chasers ultimately found safety where they could, hiding under trees and beside buildings when possible. The hail was, supposedly, causing holes in the dirt when they landed. Cars throughout the area ended up severely damaged.

This was apparently the second hail storm of the day, making it a bit odd for those living within Texas. For those who ended up with damaged property during the storm, our hearts go out to you.
