Anna Faris Eats Ants And Tarantula On National TV

Anna Faris and husband Chris Pratt each had a dead bug collection, even before they started dating and they later combined them after marriage. Late Late Show‘s James Corden figured since Anna Faris likes dead bugs on a collector’s frame, she might want them on her plate as well.

Corden enlisted the help of Chef David George Gordon to prepare a sumptuous meal for his guests Faris and Tituss Burgess. And by sumptuous we mean “protein-rich insects on fancy-looking dishes.” The Bug Chef’s delicatessen for that night included ant log with real ants and cockroach canapés. Amazingly, though Faris said no to the roaches with goat cheese, she seemed to not mind being offered the insects and was brave enough to try the other bug dishes including the freshly-made deep-fried tarantula.
