New Clip Of ‘Poltergeist’ Hits The Web Ahead Of Movie’s Release

It’s just a few days before we can see the entire Poltergeist movie in theaters — but before it’s out to the general public, the producers released a new clip that shows the remake might be able to live up to the original. In the first Poltergeist, a clown doll plays a rather ominous enemy of the family’s kids. In the remake, it appears that clown is again going to be playing a rather scary part. It’s actually possible that the clown is even scarier in this version of the story. Even though we know exactly what’s coming, the movie producers seem to be able to still bring a jump scare or two. The clip also seems to throw cold water on Sam Rockwell’s assertion that this is more of a kid’s movie. Check out the video below and tell us if the clip is as good as we think.
