New ‘Ash vs Evil Dead’ Series Gets Teaser Trailer

Starz is bringing Bruce Campbell’s most beloved character, in the form of Ash, back to life and onto network television in their series Ash vs Evil Dead. The show is based on the original Evil Dead movies that featured Campbell as Ashley, a man who saw all of his friends consumed by the risen evil dead. One of the things that has people really excited about this new show is that it will have Bruce Campbell back and hopefully delivering lines like “give me some sugar, baby.“

We won’t know for a little while whether he will indeed be dropping that line, but we do have the series’ first official teaser. There isn’t much seen in the 31-second video, except for the infamous chainsaw covered in blood and gore. The video also features exactly one word, “Groovy.” This is another of Ash’s most cherished lines and bodes well for the show coming to Starz — the series hits this fall.
