Racist Soap Dispenser Discovered In Hotel

Two guys found an interesting discovery in a hotel while attending Dragon Con 2015 in Atlanta, Georgia. Teej Meister and his buddy, Larry, stayed at the Marriott Marquis and noticed something off in one of the bathrooms. Meister, an African-American, couldn’t get anything out of the automatic soap dispenser. However, Larry, who is caucasian, was able to easily trigger that dispenser to work. That prompted Meister to upload a quick video with the title, “Whites Only?”

Do we really have a racist soap dispenser on our hands? Comments seemed to suggest that both Teej and Larry were fooling their audience by how their hands were placed in front of the censor. To prove them wrong, Meister uploaded a second video that showed both Larry and himself flashing their fingers right next to the sensor. It’s clear that the dispenser has an issue detecting lighter skin against dark skin.
