Shocking Makeup Tutorial Featuring Acid Attack Victim

In an effort to shed more light on the brutal acid attacks happening the world over, acid attack victim Reshma has created a shocking PSA. In May 2014, while out walking with her sister in their hometown of India, Reshma was brutally attacked by her brother-in-law, who threw sulfuric acid in her face. Not only was she left disfigured but she also lost an eye. Now, Reshma wants to put a stop to these cruel acid attacks — so she crafted a PSA in the form of a makeup tutorial.

In the video, titled Beauty Tips By Reshma, she instructs viewers how to get perfect red lips. She tells viewers that it is easy to buy red lipstick and makes a point that it is just as easy to buy acid. Reshma then urges viewers to sign a petition which will help end the sale of acid, followed by the hashtag #ENDACIDSALE! So far the shocking video has racked up close to 780,000 views.
