New York City Rat Takes Pizza Home For Dinner

If you’ve ever spent any time in New York City, you know that there are areas that have a bit of a rat problem. On the other hand, while you’re normally not going to want to pass a rat going down the stairs, there’s something endearing about this little fella just trying to get a slice of the city’s finest pizza home to have for dinner.

By all accounts, this video was not staged, rather it was simply shot by a bystander who happened to notice the little rodent struggling to get down the stairs as it horded its tasty treasure. For all we know, this is the embodiment of Master Splinter feeding his Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle protege’s after a long day of practicing martial arts. Nevertheless, we bet he had a feast that night.
