Halo Sniper Kill Dubbed ‘Greatest Snipe in Halo History’

Halo remains one of the most popular first-person shooter franchises alongside Call of Duty, especially on its exclusive home system – the Xbox. The game was immensely popular in the days of the Xbox and Xbox 360, but the science fiction series has lost a bit of its momentum since then. The upcoming release of Halo 5: Guardians should prove quite valuable to the developer, as everyone wants to get behind the mask of Master Chief once more.

Well, there are still some players enjoying themselves in older games. Watching the footage of this impressive sniper kill makes me, personally, want to load Halo 3 back up once more and get my shooter on. Unfortunately, I highly doubt my skills with a sniper rifle are going to match the luck that occurred within this recent game.

The player behind the camera managed to bounce a sniper shot off three different surfaces before striking an enemy player and taking them out with an instant kill. He claims to have made it deliberately, but is simply joking around, of course. The kill was pure luck, and we can almost guarantee he was jumping around the room in joy following the best kill of the match.

“Of course the kill was intentional!! I accurately predicted the spawn of the player after I killed him for the first time, knew exactly where he was positioned when he shot at me and therefore deliberately ricocheted the bullet of three surfaces to take him out, it was very simple really!”
