We all have our favorite TV shows and we all have our reasons to watch those certain shows. Maybe it is because the storyline is so amazing or maybe it is because we love seeing someone new killed off every week. Another one of the reasons might be because of the hot actress playing one of the lead roles on that show. We made a list of 20 of the hottest females on primetime television this year. Wednesday nights could not be any hotter on ABC, especially with Sofia Vergara on Modern Family. She makes everyone want her, even her son-in-law Phil. And in real life, Sofia is engaged to hottie Joe Manganiello, so she wins at life too!

Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting

The Big Bang Theory is the highest rated show on television and I am sure guys checking out Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting is a big part of those numbers. The pixie haircut scared some people, but we think it works on Kaley, but doesn’t everything work on her?

Alison Brie

From Mad Men to Community, which premieres on Yahoo! later this month, Alison Brie is always a sight for sore eyes. Now you will have to go on Yahoo streaming to see her, but I think she will be worth it.

Hayden Panettiere

Even after giving birth recently, Hayden Panettiere is looking good while starring in Nashville. And who knew that Hayden was such a good singer? She brings the drama, the vocals and the hotness every week!

Zooey Deschanel

Speaking of pregnancies, Zooey Deschanel is currently knocked up, but how adorable is she on New Girl? She is the girl-next-door that every guy thinks he can land, which makes her perfect for this role.

Katharine McPhee

The former American Idol winner had found a successful home on CBS, as she stars on Scorpion. She had a dud with her albums and her time on NBC’s Smash, but it looks like Scorpion is a hit for McPhee and for CBS.

Kat Dennings

How could Kat Dennings not be included on this list? She may be one of the 2 Broke Girls, but she is definitely rich in one area! And all those sexual innuendos on the show make it even better for the fellas watching.

Beth Behrs

You can’t include one of the 2 Broke Girls and not include the other one! While she may not be as top-heavy, she is still very easy on the eyes. And she seems a little ditzy, which is a turn-on for some viewers out there.

If you aren’t watching The Vampire Diaries, then Nina Dobrev is definitely a reason to start watching! She may not have made it work with co-star Ian Somerhalder, which makes her more appealing to us, since she is single!

There definitely is some eye candy on New Girl, huh? FOX keeps renewing it and this could be one of the reasons why. Hannah is a former fashion model before becoming an actress, so it makes sense with this sexy pose.

Mariska Hargitay has been on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit for 16 years now, but NBC promotes the show as part of #WCW and we agree! She has the looks and she has the smarts, so we include her for the older crowd that might enjoy her.

Anna Faris has found success on Mom on CBS and while she struggles on that show, it doesn’t look like she struggles in real life. She is married to Chris Pratt, so she may not have her life together on Mom, but she definitely has won at real life!

Missy Peregrym

You may not know who Missy Peregrym is, but you should be watching Rookie Blue this summer on ABC. The show is great, as are Missy’s abs! I fell in love with her in Stick It and now I get to enjoy her every summer, but I wish ABC had Rookie Blue on more than just the summer!

Chloe Bennet

ABC found a winner when they cast Chloe Bennet as Skye on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D and she knows how to work those legs at 18 years old. She may cause earthquakes on the show, but she is making other things rumble while watching.

Modern Family makes the list again, but this time it is Sarah Hyland making our list. She has branched out to movies and maybe Vampire Academy did not work out so well, she always as Hayley Dunphy to fall back on.

The 100 has become a hit for The CW Network and I am sure Marie Avgeropoulos helps with the ratings. You know guys are tuning in for her! A nuclear war may have wiped out most of life on Earth, but we are glad that Marie survived.

Lucy Liu has been popular with movies and television, but she is currently starring in Elementary on CBS and still looking good after all these years. It is hard to believe that it has been almost 15 years since Charlie’s Angels was released, but she still looks the same!

Emily VanCamp

You can catch Emily VanCamp on Revenge on ABC Sunday nights. However, I wouldn’t do her any wrong or she may come back to get you. She is well liked, as has won a couple of Teen Choice Awards for her role.

Kerry Washington

Would Scandal be as popular as it is without Kerry Washington? I doubt it, as she portrays that role perfectly and she is perfect to look at. There may be drama between Olivia Pope and the president, but that is what keeps us coming back each week to watch more!

Lea Michele

Lea Michele is ending her run with the glee club this season, but Lea made Glee what it was with her amazing voice. Hiding under that dorky glee club member is an amazing body. We are sad to see her say goodbye to Glee, but she is sticking with Ryan Murphy and going to star in his new show Scream Queens coming this fall.
