New Yorkers Heat Up The Subway With A Dance Party

If you prefer your subway rides to be devoid of any dancing or fun, count your blessings you weren’t on this one!

Meir Kalmanson, a filmmaker from New York, has had enough of the “freezer-like” atmosphere in subway cars and wanted to do something to change that. And what better way to heat things up than by throwing a DJ dance party?

Kalmanson, along with a helpful group of friends, set up a subway car with surround-sound speakers, and strobe lights, to boot. Unsuspecting subway users stepped into what seemed like more of a club than a dingy mode of transportation, and the results were magical.

Once over their initial shock, those on the subway got into the spirit of things, and many of them can even be seen swinging around the supportive metal bars in the car. Talk about one fun ride!
