Adam Sandler Battles It Out With Donkey Kong In This New Movie Trailer

Who would’ve thought that there would be a day where we’ll be able to see Pacman and Adam Sandler battle it out for the fate of human kind on the big screen? Fake video game movie trailers have been around since the dawn of YouTube. However, as crazy as it may seem, Pixels is an actual movie that will be coming out this summer. With a story so ‘creative’ it might be taken from a comment of a 5-year-old on the internet, the movie just goes to show that Hollywood is officially out of ideas.

Coming out in July, Pixels starts off with an Alien race misinterpreting video game feeds as the declaration of war and giving life to their characters to bring end to the human kind. While this might tickle your inner-video-game-nerd in a bizarre manner, the trailer is just baffling. Out of every possible video-game related scenario, the one that Hollywood has chosen to show off to the mainstream audience is just bizarre.

Should we love the movie? It’s intentionally silly and after all who doesn’t want to see video game characters from the 90’s destroy the Earth. Should we give Adam Sandler yet another chance? Yes, his latest movies are quite horrific to say the least, but he’s had some good performances back in the day.
