Bittersweet Video Of Kanye West Rapping With His Late Mom

A rare video has surfaced of superstar Kanye West rapping with his mother, who is now deceased. In the touching video, Donda West and a younger looking Kanye reminisce about a song he wrote years ago, which was never released. Later in the video, Kanye is seen serenading his mom with a track called, “Hey Mama” while she happily joins in. The mother-son duo were extremely close and were often seen at award shows and parties together before Donda passed away in 2007 at age 58. Reportedly she died of complications from cosmetic surgery.

Kanye went on to become one of the most successful hip hop artists of all time. But he still mourns the death of his mother. Just last year the rapper said that his biggest regret in life is not being able to introduce his daughter, North West – who he shares with wife Kim Kardashian – to his late mother.
