Disney’s Bon Iger Reveals Details About New Star Wars Theme Parks

The next few years are going to be exciting for Star Wars fans. The new trilogy begins later this year; a few spin-off films are in the works, Star Wars themed video games are expected to take the market by storm, and now — plans for two huge Star Wars theme parks have been announced for Disneyland in California and Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.

Disney CEO Bob Iger reveals the details in this short clip, which features never-before-seen concept art of the planned parks. He spoke to a crowd at the D23 Expo, who reacted enthusiastically to the news. Iger revealed the new parks will immerse visitors in a truly authentic Star Wars experience, and include a ride which simulates a voyage aboard the Millennium falcon.
