First Look At Supergirl On CBS And It Looks Amazing!

We recently reported that Supergirl was getting picked up by CBS, and now they’ve released the first look at the new show — and it’s amazing! To be honest, we were a little skeptical about this one, but this trailer definitely made us excited to watch it when it premieres in the fall.

Melissa Benoist, who you might recognize from Glee, will be playing Kara Danvers (Kara Zor El). You will learn in the trailer, that Kara is Superman’s cousin, Supergirl. Also starring in the show is Calista Flockhart, who will play Kara’s boss Cat Grant and we are getting a Meryl Streep from The Devil Wears Prada vibe from her, which makes us so excited!
