Foo Fighters “Rick Roll” Westboro Baptist Church

The Foo Fighters love messing with the Westboro Baptist Church cult, and they struck again last Friday before their concert at the Sprint Center in Kansas City. This time, they brought the popular “Rick Roll” meme to real life. For those unfamiliar with the term, getting “Rick Rolled” is when you click on something online, instead of getting what you wanted, you ended up going to a music video of Rick Astley’s “Never Gonna Give You Up” from 1987.

It was a follow up to a previous stint in Kansas City back in 2011. The Foo Fighters dressed up as country singers and sung a hilarious song about accepting everyone. You’d think the WBC would finally learn, but anytime they come after the band, you can bet Dave Grohl and the rest of the group will be back with another hilarious answer.
