Frito Lay Launches Rainbow Colored Doritos To Support LGBT
Frito Lay recently announced that they would be releasing rainbow colored Doritos chips to help support the LGBT community. Proceeds from the sales of the multicolored chips will go to the It Gets Better Project. This project is a non-profit organization that helps combat suicide and mental illness within the LGBT youth.
The Doritos Rainbows will be released as a limited edition version of the popular Cool Ranch flavored tortilla chips. The Doritos chips will come in various shades of red, green, purple, blue and orange which are inspired by the colors of the Pride flag. Frito Lay will also release a tag line on the bag that will help members of the LGBT community to love themselves for who they are. The tagline reads: “There’s nothing bolder than being yourself.”
Doritos Rainbows will not be available at your local stores. Instead the snacks will be available once you donate $10 or more to the It Gets Better Project, with the chips being shipped within 1 to 2 weeks.
