Honest Trailers Flaunts How Two-Faced ‘Magic Mike’ Is

If there was ever a movie that proved just how obsessed Hollywood is with showing naked body parts without fully delving into gratuitous, NC-17-rated full frontal nudity, its the Channing Tatum pseudo-biopic Magic Mike. Its the tale of a guy named Mike and how he tries to earn enough money to get his own furniture-making business off the ground… but does anyone really care about the serious aspects of the plot multiple sets majestic, glistening abs dancing across the screen?

Loosely based on the pre-acting stripper career of star Channing Tatum, Screen Junkies boils down Magic Mike to show just how bare it really is. While it tries to be sophisticated, it fails horribly at being a complete story. The men in the movie deal with financial hardship, health problems, and drug addictions – but what is that when you can get endless amounts of female attention and crinkled one dollar bills when you shake your junk all over the place? The only thing bound to be more duplicitous than Magic Mike is its recently released sequel Magic Mike XXL.
