Madonna, Jimmy Fallon & The Roots Perform Holiday

Madonna recently stopped by The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon to do a small rendition of her 1983 hit single, ‘Holiday’. Jimmy Fallon and Madonna performed the song with The Tonight Show‘s house band, The Roots, while using classroom instruments. Everyone was donned in Hawaiian shirts, and colorful sunglasses while belting out the ‘Holiday’ lyrics. The 56-year-old legend Madonna wore her classic outfit from the 80’s which included fishnet tights, large gold jewelry and leather fishnet gloves.

Jimmy Fallon and The Roots used many of the instruments we grew up playing in our music classes such as a small keyboard, a rainbow xylophone, a cowbell and even bongos. Madonna’s visit on The Tonight Show was to promote her latest album, Rebel Heart, which is currently available to purchase in stores and online. After the segment Madonna told Jimmy Fallon that her ‘Holiday’ rendition kind of sucked because she couldn’t remember some of the words.
