New Trailer For ‘Return To Sender’ And Rosamund Pike Looks Fierce

If you missed the lovely Rosamund Pike in last years thriller Gone Girl, then you probably don’t know just how wonderful this actress really is. It used to be that you could only find her in small roles such as big sister Jane Bennett in Joe Wright’s Pride & Prejudice or as a sexy lawyer in next to Ryan Gosling in Fracture. Since her breakout Oscar-nominated performance, Pike seems to be on a real roll and it continues with the new home-invasion thriller Return to Sender.

In the new trailer, we see our first look of Pike as Miranda, a young nurse. On a whim she lets her friend set her up on a blind date, but the first man to show up at her home is not who he says he is, and takes the opportunity to assault Miranda. The man ends up in jail, but Miranda is not satisfied with that and starts to plan her own revenge on her own terms. The film also stars Shiloh Fernandez and Nick Nolte and is due in theaters later this year.
