New Zealand Woman Drinks Breast Milk To Survive

Susan O’Brien took a wrong turn and became heavily disorientated while on a 12.5-mile cross-country race near Wellington in New Zealand. The 29-year-old woman said she thought she was going to die during a night of heavy rain and high winds, reports Shocking Times. As the search and rescue operation was only launched after she failed to reach the finish line on Sunday morning, the runner had to figure out a way to survive.

Even though she was equipped with water, gel packs and an energy bar, the woman decided to drink her own breast milk. She described how she spent the night praying and laying in a hole she dug in the ground. She didn’t have her own life blanked with her. O’Brian told local reporters: “I’m not a very good orienteering woman.” All ended well after she was found by a helicopter with heat-seeking equipment which managed to track her down.
