Robert Downey Jr. Visits One-Armed Boy, Leaves Him With A Gift

We all know Robert Downey Jr. is an impressive individual, both on-screen and off, but the true person behind those cool glasses really shines when he meets someone in need, someone who may look up to him. Downey has been known to take care of children, bringing them to his own birthday party or offering them free things from movies in the past. However, this one-armed boy got the time of his life when he met the famous actor.

Downey, being the man that he is, gave Alex, a seven-year-old boy who loved superheroes and was born with a partially developed right arm, the chance at really making use of his limbs’ full potential. The renowned actor brings along a brand new bionic 3D printed arm designed to look like that of Iron Man’s. The limb cost nothing to the family, as Downey worked alongside Limbitless to surprise Alex and his family.

Alex, being the happy child that he has remained through his entire ordeal, was ecstatic to connect the bionic arm to his body. The arm appeared to work perfectly, and Downey even attached his own Iron Man arm to play around with Alex.
