Rocky Balboa’s Legacy Continues In Upcoming Film “Creed”

Another chapter in the Rocky Balboa saga is set to be released on November 25th, 2015. The legendary character, however, won’t be boxing in the upcoming film. Rather, Rocky will be taking on Adonis Johnson Creed, the son of Apollo Creed, as a protege.

According to USA Today, Stallone has reported that Rocky is reluctant to train Apollo’s son, as he still feels guilt for the death of Apollo. However, Rocky decides to help train Adonis when he notices that the boy has the “eye of the tiger”, a concept Apollo once instilled in Rocky.

Stallone is reprising his famous role, of course. Michael B. Jordan will be playing the character of Adonis Creed. The film is both written and directed by Ryan Coogler (Fruitvale Station).
