Sam Smith And John Legend Collaborate On An Emotional Music Video

You may have heard Sam Smith’s latest song “Lay Me Down“, but you haven’t heard it like this. The 2015 Artist of the Year teamed up with John Legend, on both the piano and vocals, for an emotionally stirring rendition of the song. With 13 Grammy awards between them, a collaboration between these to artists couldn’t be anything but magical.

In addition to the video, the pair preformed the song live for the recent Comic Relief telethon on BBC. The charitable organization supports work across the UK and Africa to change the lives of the disadvantaged, vulnerable and poor. In fact, the video contains scenes from the organization’s projects in Africa, adding one more tear-inducing element to the mix.
