Shocking Mid-Air Seizure Befalls Man…How He Lands Will Amaze You

Skydiving is already a pretty scary endeavor for some. Free falling out of a speeding airplane towards the ground at speeds that can only be accomplished in this manner, with nothing but a thin parachute strapped to your back for safety is a terrifying thought. However, try jumping out of the aforementioned airplane and experiencing a seizure mid-air before touching down on the ground safely.

Chris – the man experiencing the seizure – was performing stage five of the Accelerated Free Fall program mid-November 2014. Unfortunately, a near-death experience occurred around 9000ft in the air. The seizure hit Chris as he attempted a left-hand turn as he sped towards the ground. The following 30 seconds were of him falling completely unconscious through the air.

Being a skydiving program, however, means there was a jump master soaring through the air alongside Chris, which was incredibly lucky. Said jump master managed to pull the ripcord around 4000ft, with Chris regaining consciousness around 3000ft. Thankfully, Chris landed safely on the ground.
