Shocking Video Of Starbucks Employee Screaming At Customer

A video has emerged online that shows a barista at Starbucks having a meltdown with a customer. After believing that Ruby Chen had stolen a cookie straw, the employee at the Starbucks on Broadway in Elmhurst, Queens, began angrily ranting. When another customer saw the commotion, he began filming to show off the shouting and screaming the employee launched at the helpless Chen.

Starbucks have responded to the video and have suspended the employee while they investigate the incidence. Chen has also been offered a $100 gift card for Starbucks as compensation in an attempt to make up for her shoddy treatment.

A statement that they have since released states, “The customer’s experience is not reflective of the service our baristas provide. The employee was immediately suspended and no longer works for Starbucks. … This experience is not what we want our customers to have in our stores. We worked to quickly resolve this. Our leadership team has reached out to the customer to make things right.”
