Somebody Created the Best Video to Prove Lightbulb Doesn’t Work

Eran C. Galili wasn’t happy when he received a bricked LIFX bulb. When the company wanted to confirm that the bulb didn’t work, the result Galili gave was epic. The whole story begins when LIFX did the usual suggestion to RMA the bulb (return it via shipping). Galili lives overseas, so the shipping cost would be pricey. Instead of going through the work of repackaging the product and sending it back, LIFX instead asked for a video proving that the bulb didn’t work and they would send Galili a new one.

Galili definitely sent proof, and in hilarious fashion. Going with the popular theme to “The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly,” he tests a working LIFX bulb (the good), a standard energy efficient bulb (the ugly), and the defective LIFX bulb (the bad) in a standard lamp. Galili confirmed that a new bulb is being shipped in an update to his video post: “And, true to their word, my new bulb is on the way!“
