Stephen Colbert Attempts Multiple New Looks In “Late Night” Promo

Ever since signing off on The Colbert Report, Stephen Colbert hasn’t been seen much in the public eye. All of that time off has given him a full beard. However, with David Letterman recently retiring from Late Night, it’s time for Colbert to get ready for the new gig this fall and shave off the facial hair.

In the first promo featuring the new host, Colbert explains how CBS is forcing him to whack off the beard. Instead of bulldozing it all off, he attempts different styles to see how good it looks. Of course, it’s all done in the humorous way that Colbert is best known for. From the “Unhitler” to the “Half Wolverine,” not to mention a hilarious montage of time he spent with his beard, Late Night should be in great hands.
