Woman Asks For Flowers, Boyfriend Sends Her Something Hilarious Instead
Girls have a tendency to be very vague when asking for things. Most of the time they don’t even actually ask for things – they just continually hint at what it is that they want.
That seemed to have been the case with Richard Selway and his girlfriend Paige-Ellen Williams, an adorable couple from Britain. Williams says: “I was teasing him a few weeks ago, telling him I deserved to have flowers delivered to the house after a pretty challenging day. I completely forgot I’d said anything to him about it.”
Selway, however, being the stand-up boyfriend that he is, did not forget the flower comment and sent Williams 12 bags of flour. He actually had them delivered right to her doorstep from Tesco. Yes, that’s correct – not a dozen roses, a dozen bags of flour. Williams was extremely confused when the deliveryman showed up at her door, and initially sent him away, assuming it was a mistake. When the deliveryman insisted that it was for her, and he had spoken with her boyfriend, she contacted Selway.
His response was: “Who said romance was dead?” Williams took it all in good spirit, and posted a picture of her flours on Facebook, where her post got upwards of 60,000 likes. Tesco even commented and said: “Your boyfriend has really proven how much he’s listening to you and your desire to have flours delivered.” At least these “flours” won’t go bad within a week!
