You Won’t Believe How Huge This Pit Bull Really Is!

Pit Bulls are generally known as one of the most ruthless dog breeds in existence. Originally developed as fighting dogs, they were used in illegal blood sports and later as catch dogs, to hunt semi-wild cattle and hogs. Having in mind his enormous size of about 175 pounds, you would think that ‘Hulk’ is no different. However, the huge family Pit Bull may very well shatter your misconceptions about the dog breed.

Being a family dog, Hulk is a far more loving creature that you’d expect. In multiple videos of the dog, you can see the massive pet has a soft side, being loving and caring toward the family’s toddler.

“He’s a wonderful, excellently trained dog,” the owner of the Pit Bull Grannan said. “He plays with my kid, he’s great with the family and he’s so, so sweet.”

Hulk is only 18 months old, but he is the biggest of the 12 Pit Bulls owned by the family. When he was a baby (as shown at the picture above) the family weren’t expecting him to get so big. However, today the dog weights as much as 175-pounds,

Grannan and his wife are the owners of a kennel that breeds and trains American Pit Bull Terriers as protection dogs for multiple clients worldwide. Called Dark Dynasty K9s, the kennel is also a member of the United Kennel Club and the American Dog Breeders Association.

“Pit Bulls are only in the media when bad things happen,” said Grannan. “This myth of them as monsters gets perpetuated, but it’s not true. They might not be for everyone, but under a good leader and with proper training they make amazing family and work or protection dogs.“
